On October 5th, 2022, Dr. Richard Konteh, Madam I. Z. Konteh, and the entire Unifier team hosted a cross-section of the All People's Congress (APC) diaspora members to a simple, casual but glamorous meet and greet evening at his Babadorie residence in Freetown.
Madam I. Z. Konteh, wife of Dr. Richard Konteh opened the occasion with an inspiring, welcoming speech that set the stage for a relaxing evening. She encouraged the guests not to hold back but enjoy the moment with an open heart. The venue was outfitted with red table coverings, and white chair covers aligning with the APC party colours. The Unifier Women carefully catered to the delicious food and drinks. The MC (Mr. I.B. Sesay) and the DJ (Victor) for the night made the occasion an event to remember.
A cross-section of the attending guests came from all corners of the world, including Canada, Germany, Sweden, Turkey, the USA, the UK etc. Various speakers representing the different wings of the APC Diaspora took the opportunity to drive home the vital role of the APC Diaspora and that of the women of Sierra Leone.
Dr. Richard Konteh praised the APC diaspora and thanked them for their unwavering support for the party even when they are not duly being recognized or given the credit. Dr. encouraged all the guests to follow someone, a leader that will anchor for them and not just a political party because a political party doesn't have a face. He invited them with open hands to join The Unifier Team - "the winning team." Dr. Konteh entertained the guests with Emerson's popular "Bobo Pain" song as he wrapped up his rousing speech and the evening Meet & Greet.
