Dr. Richard Konteh Expresses Concern over the Undue Harassment and Intimidation of APC Officials

The on-going undue harassment and intimidation of Former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma and other All Peoples’ Congress Party (APC) Officials are disturbing to Sierra Leoneans and the international community.

Dr. Richard Konteh on Monday November 23rd expressed his concern over the undue harassment and continuous intimidation of Former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma and other All Peoples’ Congress Party Officials, over trumped up allegations of corruption.

The Office of the APC Party Presidential Candidate Aspirant for 2023 view with consternation, attempts by the ACC to present a scenario, suggesting that the former President is trying to evade being questioned by a Commission he empowered while in office as President of the country.

D-Unifier campaign view this as a lame attempt to smear the good image and international recognition the former President has carved for himself and the APC Party at large. Dr. Richard Konteh is confident that the former President is innocent and undaunted by any attempt to bring his name and the Party to disrepute.

D-Unifier campaign also note the other varied attempts to unlawfully arrest and detain our Party supporters. Two weeks ago, Mohamed Kakay, fondly called, Med Kay, our East District Chairman, was arrested with other persons over unjustified allegations and are still in detention.

The case of Paolo Konteh is another unfortunate miscarriage of Justice and whose appeal is being delayed in the courts.

Against this backdrop, Dr. Richard Konteh and D-Unifier campaign join the leadership of the Party to call upon all APC Party supporters to be law abiding and be stoic. Dr. Richard Konteh expresses that the APC will never be intimidated by any political party or group of persons. He encourages APC Party supporters to always remember that in the struggles of the APC, there is victory.
